Back in April we moved into, what I so lovingly refer to as, "The Little Crooked House." I'm trying to overcome my distaste but it's a slow process.
Any hoo! I'm feeling empowered today! A few weeks ago I purchased my very first power drill. Nothing too fancy. It's just something to assist me in all my grand schemes and ideas. Last night I drilled holes in the wall for pegs in my daughters room. They're still holding on the wall! SUCCESS! Lydia's room is nearly complete. All she needs now is some paint touch-ups to the walls, suitable curtains and a few less toys.

| Can you see me?! And the aforementioned hooks. |
Next I get crazy the with shelving. We have a very tiny laundry room that was probably not meant for a washer and a dryer. It's a good thing I'm not pregnant or I would never be able to get in there. In order to clean up the tops of the washer and dryer as well as the floor I have successfully installed a 6 ft. wire shelf.

| That's right. Perfectly level! |
Sadly, the 'before the move' before picture of the laundry room isn't very good. It really didn't look much different. I think I couldn't get to the laundry room on the day I was taking pictures.
Some days I feel like this house could really be something. (So much as small little houses nestled deep into the woods of redneck country can be. But I digress.)
